Fullerton Grant Award Announced
Robin Innes, Director of Employee Training and Development at CSU Fullerton,
was awarded a $4,500 grant to research curriculum development, marketing, and
rollout of a leadership institute. Fullerton's Institute for Leadership
Development is based in part on UC Berkeley's/Right Management Consultants'
model.
Cal State Fullerton's Institute for Leadership Development takes a
three-pronged approach: Core Competencies, providing in-depth
tools for experienced Fullerton managers; MPP Expanded Orientation,
providing "survival skills" to experienced managers who are new to Fullerton;
and Becoming a Leader, providing transition support to the
first-time supervisor or lead worker.
