Training Advocates Talk Training at CSU
In a one-day meeting on January 22, 2003, training advocates from southern
campuses of CSU met again to talk about common issues and to share ideas and
resources. The agenda consisted of a demonstration of the Syntrio learning
management system, an update on systemwide training sessions and partnership
opportunities, fee waiver policy and procedure questions and concerns, the
sharing of training video libraries, and the planning of the first systemwide
meeting of Human Resource based training advocates in June. The next meeting
will be held on March 14 on the Fullerton campus.
The meeting was chaired by Susan Berilla, San Bernardino. Attendees were
Tanis Brown, Deborah Roberson-Sims, Janet Cain, DeLoyce Freeman, Robin Innes,
Rod Foster, Fredric Maupin, and Lynne Hellmer. Attendance is open to all
training advocates, particularly those based in Human Resources offices. For
more information, please contact Susan Berilla at
